How do they work?
These sites (often called "search agents") are designed as a way for you to compare price from multiple online music stores at one time. You first use the comparison site search engine to search for the music you want. The search agent will then return results from the music stores that have your desired music with the associated prices. Then, in theory, all you have to do is pick the cheapest item from the returned results.

While there are advantages to this method of finding music, there are problems. First, no one price comparison site lists all the online music stores. Many of the best music stores don't even allow thier sites to be searched in this manner. Second, these sites only give you the price. There are other important factors you should consider such as privacy policies, payment methods and return policies to name a few.
